The Label Printers Joins the Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy (CACP)
The Label Printers has become a member of the U.S. Chamber-led Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy (CACP), investing their time and financial resources in a consistently broadening scope of anti-counterfeiting efforts. The company joins over 600 other companies/organizations that recognize how vital it is to fight against intellectual property piracy and counterfeiting (estimated to be as much as 5 to 7% of total world trade or roughly $500 billion US, each year). The Label Printers, by joining CACP, is reaching out to assist companies and organizations in protecting their brands and intellectual property, more aggressively bringing the company’s anti-counterfeiting and manufacturing experience and expertise to the marketplace.

About the CACP:
To fight the growing threat of counterfeiting and piracy to the economy, jobs, and consumer health and safety, the business community, led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Intellectual Property Center, organized itself through a broad-based business coalition, the Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy (CACP).
Formed in 2004, the CACP has grown to more than 600 members, making it the largest business coalition of its kind. The coalition is committed to increasing the understanding of the negative impact of counterfeiting and piracy and to finding real solutions by working with governments, industry, opinion leaders, the media, and consumers. This year, the CACP is focusing on a few primary goals, which they believe will make a measurable impact in the fight against counterfeiting and piracy. More information about the organization may be found on their web site: http://www.theglobalipcenter.com/index.php/cacp.
