A Website Launched for Therapeutic Pet Massage

June 28th, 2010

A new website shows how pet owners can make a difference in their pets’ lives with Port St. Lucie therapeutic pet massage.

AnimalMassage.us is the brainchild of Ray Mashler which was set up to inform people in Port St. Lucie FL about holistic care for dogs, cats, and even horses. It is also to announce that he is providing therapeutic pet massages to pets residing in the area.
This website is a good resource for people wanting to care for their pets the proper way. Aside from the fact that it provides them a way to contact Ray it also has a number of articles that contain valuable information. Ray constantly updates his websites for new contents regarding animal massage, nutrition, training, and other neat stuffs regarding animal care.
Ray received his diploma on December 31, 1992 from an accredited school for Animal Science located in Scranton PA. He has 13 long years of experience as a veterinary technician in Stuart FL. On July 23, 2003 he received accreditation from IAVCP as a Certified Veterinary Chiropractor. He found his true passion in helping owners attain better care for pets by applying massage therapy. He completed his course for the Pet Massage training in Ohio on July of 2004. Ray started this Port St. Lucie therapeutic pet massage business last June of 2006 initially by providing massaging services to cats and dogs. In the meantime he is expected to complete a certification course for Horse shiatsu massage this coming July 2010.
Pet owners will be happy to know that Ray provides animal massage for cats and dogs in the comforts of their own homes. This is for those who are residents around the Treasure Coast of Florida. Peoples’ pets will feel comfortable with Ray since he has vast experience on his craft. In some unique cases he teaches pet owners massaging techniques for cats and dogs that are too nervous to handle.
It is important for people to know that massage therapy is not an alternative to veterinary medicine. It is advised that approval from the pets’ veterinarians should be sought first before making appointments for massage therapies.

For people to make an appointment for Port St. Lucie dog and cat massage therapy, they can call Ray between 8AM-8PM EST from Mondays to Fridays. They can also send him an email or fill out the online contact form found on the website.

Show Your Cat You Care And Keep The Little Cute Pet Looking Good

June 2nd, 2010

Of course your cat will know that you care for it when it gets fed regularly, and when it has a really comfortable place to sleep at any time. However, caring for cats does not only mean playing and loving your cat – there are other things that are necessary to show that you care for your cat. For instance, to keep your cat in tip-top condition, you need to see that your cat is kept on a good diet.

Ideally, your cat should have food with a high protein content, which is very important for growth and repair of tissues, as well as to provide energy. However, a meal of only meat is not suitable. This is because while it is high in protein and fat, there is a deficiency of calcium; so a small quantity of powered bone meal can be added to the food.

Caring for cats can be a little tricky though, so the best thing to do if you are at all unsure as to which foods to give your cat to keep it healthy and in good condition, is to get advice from your vet. He or she will recommend foods that your cat will enjoy, as well as ensure that your cat is really satisfied at meal times. Fresh water should, of course, be available to your cat at all times.

Many people, although they love their cats dearly, seem to think that by giving there cats more food than is necessary, that they are showing how much they care for it. This is so wrong though; they are actually shortening their cat’s life, and probably causing health problems that would otherwise not have been there. It is very important to not over-feed your cat.

Another very important aspect in caring for cats is grooming. Cats are very proud animals and like to look really good all the time. Apart from helping to keep your cat looking really smart, the most important reason for grooming your cat is to get rid of all the dead hair, and to reduce the possibility of fur balls from forming when the cat grooms itself.

Also, grooming your cat regularly helps with the bonding between you and your cat. Your cat will really look forward to grooming times, and will be more than happy to sit there, purring away with satisfaction, while you brush through the fur, making your cat look super sleek and shiny as it should.

You should groom your cat regularly from the time it arrives at your home. You will need a brush and comb for this purpose. Short haired cats need to be groomed about once or twice a week, and long haired varieties need to be groomed more often, to prevent matted fur lumps from forming.

Caring for cats is also therapeutic for cat-owners as well. If you are feeling somewhat stressed after a long day, start grooming your cat. You will immediately start to calm down when your cat starts purring with pleasure.

Increase in cremation awareness leads to small business making big gains

November 22nd, 2008

Everlasting Memories made a major change of scenery in the month of August.  The small company has experienced an immense amount of growth in the past year and was forced to move into a suite of offices four times the space of their initial office.  The move was a welcome relief to the staff of Everlasting Memories and they are thriving in their new environment.
Several factors contributed to the switch in office space.  The business itself has experienced a measurable amount of growth due to an increase in awareness of cremation jewelry.  Cremation jewelry has hit an all time high for popularity rate as consumers strive to find an affordable yet beautiful way to remember a loved one.

Cremation jewelry, which is a small jewelry pendant that holds some cremated ashes or other memento to honor your loved one, used to solely be accessible through funeral homes.
Now you can purchase cremation jewelry and other cremation items online without paying the high overhead that you would experience in a funeral home or crematory.  Also, with online shopping becoming increasingly popular and in high demand, sales have continued to grow and escalate for Everlasting Memories.

The increase in sales has prompted a need to hire more staff at Everlasting Memories.  The company has nearly doubled in size in the past year and continues to grow and surpass their expectations.  Everlasting Memories has become one of the leading online suppliers of funeral jewelry to consumers and continues to be a leader in providing cutting edge pendants and other exciting products such as cremation rings and cremation diamonds to those that have lost a loved one.

The new building is as exciting as the move itself.  One of the owners of the establishment was actually born in the building back when it was a catholic hospital.   Occupying a city block next to beautiful tree lined neighborhoods, the structure houses over sixty different businesses and entities.  Here you will find an eclectic mix of businessman and entrepreneurs that have grown and become recognized and reputable enterprises.  Ironic that what once was an establishment geared towards helping and giving back to the community now houses an industry leader like Everlasting Memories whose goal is to help those that are grieving for their loved ones!

Everlasting Memories is an inspiration to those that are starting small but have big dreams.  In a matter of four years they have more than doubled their staff and their online growth and have moved from a small one room office to a suite of offices in a busy downtown district.  They have been instrumental in increasing awareness about cremation jewelry and other cremation products available online and have maintained their business integrity by providing a quality product at an affordable price.  If you were to ask Everlasting Memories, though, they would tell you that the most important thing they have achieved is that they have made a difference in people’s lives and have helped those that are grieving move forward.

Everlife Memorials Announces New Line of Pet Gravestone Memorials

October 30th, 2008

Scottsdale, AZ – October 30, 2008 For most people, pets are not just animals that humans live with in their homes. Pets are loved ones and are considered to be part of the family. Thus, when a pet dies, it is natural for the pet owner to want a pet memorial made to honor the memory of a beloved pet.

To meet the growing demand for pet memorial products, Everlife Memorials has recently launched a new line of pet gravestone memorials. Pet gravestone memorials are grave markers made to be placed in the final resting place of a beloved pet. Pet gravestone memorials come in a variety of forms such as:

· Bronze grave markers. Bronze grave markers are plaques made of bronze and placed on a granite base. They are very similar to markers found in memorial cemeteries. The designs and details on bronze grave markers are done in a process called bronze casting.

· Laser engraved markers. These pet gravestone memorials come only in highly polished black granite. This involves a special laser technology for carving lettering and design, and it only works on the surface of black granite. The designs used on laser engraved markers can be an actual photograph of the deceased pet.

· Natural rock markers. Natural rock markers are popular among pet owners who want to bury their pets in a garden at home. They are made from large natural river stones, and are then engraved with the name and dates of the pet.

· Cremation markers. Cremation markers are like any other pet memorials, except that they are fitted with a container. This container is meant to hold the ashes of the cremated pet and allows the pet owner to bring these ashes when moving to another home.

· Sandblasted pet gravestone memorials. Sandblasted gravestones for pets are made by carving the design and the lettering on a slab of granite with the use of sand and high pressure air supply. They come in different natural colors such as red, pink, gray and black, and they come in the same size as baby headstones.

· Upright pet monuments. Patterned after monuments traditionally found in cemeteries, upright pet monuments consist of the tablet and the base upon which it is placed. The monument is often put on the pet’s grave. The tablets can be either sandblasted or laser engraved.

These pet gravestone memorials come in a wide range of designs, with a wide range of prices to suit the budget of any family who had just lost a pet. Other pet memorials included in the Everlife Memorials product line are pet cremation jewelry, urns, caskets and memorial accessories. There are many memorials that a pet owner can select from to cherish the memory of a pet.

Since 1999, Everlife Memorials has provided memorial products and customer service for families dealing with the loss of someone they love.
